OMEGA WAS FOUNDED IN 2021 TO GIVE STUDENTS THE FREEDOM TO BUILD.

OMEGA is a Great Neck based competitive VEX Robotics organization. As a private student-led team, we work without the limitations of school teams, allowing us iterate faster, travel around the country to compete in signature events, and allocate 100% of our budget to R&D. We've built a name for ourselves in the VEX community by founding CTOW, an alliance of 12 teams that's notorious for collaborating in stealth, creating complex designs that perform in late season. The result? CTOW teams won at both the 2023 and 2024 world championships.

I'm on the edge of no-code tools that allow me to bring my creativity to life.

Students are limited in an education system that is not aligned to maximize their individual success. And education companies are incentivized to maximize profit dollars. There are no good options for fellow robotics conquistadors.

At OMEGA, we give students complete freedom. Freedom to design, freedom to create, and freedom to compete. We reinvest every dollar back into the team, allowing us to afford the best materials, tools, and resources. As a student-run organization, OMEGA is completely focused on creating the best learning experience for our team members.

Over 3 years, our unorthodox team structure has given us a competitive advantage: we're simply more involved than the vast majority of teams in the world. Each year, students spend up to 1,300 in the workshop (that's over 3.5 hours a day!). And over the years, we've created a team bond that extends way beyond the scope of robotics.
